Explain Why Different Objects Appear to Be Different Colors.

Image
The colour of an object is the wavelengths of light that it reflects. As with solids the color of a molecule may be different than the color of the consistent atoms. I Can Describe Properties Of An Object Science Lessons Teaching Science Homeschool Science A frame in which Newtons laws of force and motion can explain the motion of all objects. . In this image different colors indicate different temperatures. For example a red shirt looks red because the dye molecules in the fabric have absorbed the wavelengths of light from the violetblue end of the spectrum. So tomatoes are red because the pigment atoms in the skin absorb photons of all energies except those that correspond to red. Why do objects have color. Most objects reflect light but some are more reflective than others like metals. Many objects contain atoms capable of either selectively absorbing reflecting or transmitting one or more frequencies of light. ...
